Hiya,

a small addition to the client level 3 protocol (section 3.2 of
draft-hiddinkg-wwcp-part5-01.txt aka client.rfc):

---

One of the first messages the client will get, is the YOU ARE message which is used to inform the client what its user ID for the current session is. This user ID will become invalid when the session is closed, i.e. when the network connection is closed. The user ID is used by the client to recognize messages about itself (e.g. the JOIN message, see section ##.##).

The format of the YOU ARE message is:

UR <userID>

---

Finally, one small question: who of you is still working on client software?

Regards, Grit
