Exploding Eye

This picture started off as an attempt to draw an eyeball. As it progressed, the idea of turning it into an 'exploding' eye was born. The iris was done by a zoom blur (along with a few layers to give a glassy effect). I later used the picture of an actual eye to borrow the skin texture around the eyes for more realism. Like all pictures before this one, this one too is done with only a mouse.
